In this workshop, you'll make your very own life-sized, talking sandwich puppet! Peanut butter and jelly, gooey cheese sandwiches, monster-ami on rye--the puppet sandwich world is your....sandwich!
What:
Come to Puppet Pie and leave the mess behind! Let us walk you through making your very own sandwich puppet. You'll not only go home with an adorable puppet and having tapped creativity maybe you didn't realize you had, you'll also learn skills that can bring you beyond sandwiches in a world of puppet-making and cosplay!
Suitable for Ages:
- Kids (8-12)
- Teens (13-17)
- Adults
Skills Required:
- Measuring fractions accurately with a ruler
- Cutting detail in fabric and other materials with sharp scissors
- Using a hot glue gun (ages 13+ only)
- Sitting respectfully for up to three hours
Base program includes:
- Up to three hours of studio time, or 2 hours of instruction on-site
- Up to 10 participants
- All materials and use of tools necessary to create a sandwich puppet
- Instruction and assistance from professional puppet builders
Birthday program pricing includes:
