I think that we can all agree that 2020 has been a giant dumpster fire and we appreciate your patience as orders for physical products (which are not masks) are going to take much longer to ship. If you have a pressing deadline, please contact us prior to purchase.
I’m releasing 30 masks at a time, 15 with wire, and 15 without. If you don’t see the quantity that you need in the style you need, feel free to contact me *before* you make your purchase and we can discuss your needs.
Please note that these masks are made-to-order and will be made in the order they are placed. It may take up to a week before your order is created.
When it is time for me to create your order, I’ll send you an email with your fabric choices. Your order will be shipped 1-2 business days after I hear back about your fabric choice.
I do not make children’s sizes at this time.
NO REALLY, YOU'VE GOTTA READ THE WHOLE THING!
The masks are approximately 5.75” down the center seam with wire in the nose bridge and 6” down the center seam without nose bridge wire, and all approximately 7” wide. The ear loops are approximately 8”, looped, and Elastic Ties are 18" each. I use soft, baby-headband elastic. They have THREE layers of fabric, including two cotton layers, and a non-removable (washable), acrylic felt filter layer.
If you choose ear loops, you can make the elastic slightly longer, by pulling on the elastic and scrunching up the fabric by the elastic channel as pictured. You can also run your own ribbon or shoe laces through the channels to make them tie behind your head for additional security. For an additional charge, you may choose 18" elastic ties instead of ear loops. This is the method I personally find more comfortable, as they tie around the back of your head. The elastic allows for easy-on and easy-off.
YOU'RE ALMOST DONE! KEEP READING TO THE END!
Q: Should I get nose wire? A: I know I prefer it & with the way I make my masks, you can't feel the wire inside the mask while wearing it.
Q: Should I get elastic ties or ear loops? A: Can you handle things behind your ears? Then ear loops are for you! But if you use a hearing device, wear glasses, or just don't want to feel elastic on your ears, you might want to use the ties on the back of your head
Allergy Alert: Please wash before use! The workshop has been moved home for shelter-in-place and we have cats!
