Puppeteering Basics, Saturday December 14th, 2019 1-4pm
WHAT: In this puppeteering workshop, you'll learn the basics of puppetry (with a special focus on moving-mouth puppets) from puppeteer, Stacey Gordon. You will be led through skills such as focus, breathing, posture, movement, lip sync, and emotion to help make your characters come alive.
This workshop is perfect for beginning and early-intermediate puppeteers, librarians, teachers, or anyone who just wants a refresher on their puppetry skills or to expand on other movement/performance related skills like improv. (If you come in with skills, we'll expand on those. If you come in with none, you'll get oh so many skills!)
Space is limited, so purchase your workshop today to reserve your spot!
